This was a gag photo to commemorate Dr. Ray Bowen's departure as 21st president of Texas A&M. After Dr. Bowen earned the wrath of his vice president for administration by requesting permission to have a helicopter drop him on Kyle Field, it became my task to make it happen digitally, which I did by compositing a photo (shot by Jean Wulfson) of Dr. Bowen departing from a helicopter on his front lawn with photos I had taken during an Aggie football game. I then added motion blur to the propellors and a very faint reflection of the crowd in the rear window of the helicoptor.
