I did double duty on this assignment aboard the maritime training ship Texas Clipper II, shooting both digital photos and high definition video. Shortly after the Clipper set sail from Rockport, Maine, it was met at sea by former president George Bush, who boarded and paid the cadets a visit. After he left, I was taken ashore on a life boat in order to get the photos transmitted to media.
